OKIOCAM Live is now compatible with iPads, supporting both the device’s internal cameras and external OKIOCAM USB cameras.

This application serves as a versatile tool for enhancing presentations, allowing users to utilize their OKIOCAM document cameras in conjunction with an iPad to produce high-definition visual content. It facilitates seamless sharing and engagement, making it suitable for educators, presenters, and public speakers.

Key features include real-time annotation, note-taking, highlighting, and drawing directly on visual materials, thereby increasing the interactivity and visual appeal of presentations. Additionally, the integration of Airplay enables users to project their iPad screen onto larger displays effortlessly, eliminating the need for extensive cabling.

Recent updates introduce important functionalities such as snapshot capture for high-quality images, video recording capabilities, and a Picture-in-Picture mode that allows simultaneous use of two cameras for dynamic demonstrations. Furthermore, live streaming to RTMP servers like YouTube or Facebook is now available, expanding reach and audience engagement.

Usage is straightforward: connect the OKIOCAM camera to the iPad via the included Type-C adapter and access a range of presentation-enhancing features within the app.

In terms of security and privacy, OKIOCAM Live does not access or store your camera feed or videos; it merely routes the input from your OKIOCAM device to your iPad.

Additional benefits include support for low-latency presentations at up to 30 frames per second across various resolutions, as well as digital zooming and rotation functionalities to focus on specific video areas. The application is free of advertisements and hidden costs.

Please note that at present, OKIOCAM Live for iPad supports only the device’s built-in cameras and OKIOCAM USB peripherals.
